The added word “PROJECT” means that this Dimplex fireplace must be connected directly to a fixed water supply. This makes the water vapor fire virtually unlimited, as the unit automatically refills with water. You no longer need to refill a water tank manually. Dimplex Cassette with water tank, water connection or water pump?
- Which one should you choose? Here’s the explanation –

Water tank filling: 
Would you like to use the Cassette 500 Multi in a residential environment? Then we recommend the Cassette 500 Multi RETAIL. The “RETAIL” version comes with an easy-to-refill water tank and is also significantly more affordable.

Water connection filling: 
Would you like your Dimplex 50 cm or 100 cm Multi Opti-Myst Cassette connected directly to a fixed water supply? Then choose the Cassette 500 Multi PROJECT or the Cassette 1000 Multi PROJECT. The “PROJECT” version connects directly to your water tap. The intelligent technology in the unit automatically regulates the water supply. This connection is practical for home use as well as for hotels or the hospitality sector: your staff doesn’t need to worry about the fireplace, and you’ll always have the cozy atmosphere your guests love.

Water pump filling: 
Don’t have a direct water connection but still want your Dimplex or Faber fireplace to fill automatically? Then choose the Dimplex Cassette 500/1000 Multi PROJECT or Faber e-Matrix in combination with the original Dimplex Water Pump. This pump is installed between a large water reservoir and the fireplace. The reservoir can be a bucket or a professional water tank. You only need to refill the tank manually from time to time.
