Beware of fakes: Imitation or “house brand” evaporators often have a cable 30–40 cm long and are frequently sold via AliExpress, Amazon or Temu. Genuine mist makers come in a white box and a cord of approx. 30-40cm long.
Our advice: Do not use them—they can cause irreparable damage to your fireplace’s circuit board.
